Team Building Sessions

Over the past 3 years the False Creek Women's Dragon Boat team has facilitated a number of team building events for various groups in Dragon Boats. The businesses we have worked with have used the dragonboat to promote working as a team and depending on the company's goals, learning to work as a team in a competitive arena. Dragon boat depends on the sum of the parts. While many team sports are built around an individual and their strengths, dragonboat depends on each member's skills being maximized to produce the end result. As the women's team says there is no I in team. Strength, technique, leadership, ability to work toward a similar style and also, many (at least 25) of the False Creek Women's team members past and present are coaching or have coached recreational teams in Vancouver, thereby contributing greatly to the sport of Dragon Boating.
